Kaibosh Volunteering with Team Wellington
Last Thursday afternoon, Craig and Cleo from our Wellington office teamed up with Kaibosh to sort, weigh, and pack one tonne of donated food. Go Media proudly supports Kaibosh through our Good Impressions initiative, which provides digital billboard space to the organisation across the Wellington Region.
Kaibosh connects the food industry with community groups that assist those in need by providing vulnerable Kiwis with nutritious food. Not only does Kaibosh support the Wellington region with food, but their efforts to rescue quality food from being discarded significantly reduce carbon emissions, benefitting both people and the environment.
Craig and Cleo had an amazing time learning about Kaibosh's operations and how they rescue food from being wasted. They were mentored by friendly volunteers and Alex MacGibbon, the Marketing/Communications Manager.
