A Word From The Owners

It’s been a fast start to the year! Since Christmas Day we have launched 10 new digital screens in Whangārei, Napier, New Plymouth, Hamilton, Tauranga, and Christchurch. Our large format network now stands at 90 screens strong, making Go Media the largest digital billboard company in Aotearoa. The network now reaches 800,000 New Zealanders from Whangārei to Invercargill, in a single week!

We have a mammoth year ahead of us, with our sponsorship of various sports, arts and creativity for 2023 kicking off shortly with the Super Rugby franchises promoting the season and match days.

We’re also excited about the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup being played over Jul-Aug. We’re marketing to FIFA sponsors on our screens near the four hosting stadiums - Eden Park, FMG Stadium Waikato, Sky Stadium and Forsyth Barr Stadium. International attention and visitors are going to make the event a real spectacle.

Celebrating six months of Good Impressions

Celebrating six months of Good Impressions

Now six months in, we’ve seen 38M Good Impressions (approx.11,990 hours of screen time) donated to our 12 benefitting organisations across our nationwide DOOH network.

To celebrate this remarkable achievement, we'll soon be providing certificates to each participating client/agency - so keep an eye out for this!

Welcome to the 90s!

Welcome to the 90s!

And just like that, we've reached 90 digital screens nationwide!

After recently adding new sites to existing markets in Tauranga, Hamilton and New Plymouth, we've also entered new markets in Whangārei and Napier - greatly extending our nationwide network.

Maintaining the DOOH space race is no easy feat, which makes us immensely proud of our commercial team for their continuous drive and dedication towards expanding our reach.

New Year, New Faces

New Year, New Faces

To keep up with our ever-expanding portfolio, we’ve onboarded (and re-onboarded) some new go-getters to our team.

Matt Field joins us as National Sales Director, Frank Costello as Commercial Director and Whitney Macky has returned as one of our Account Managers after being on maternity leave. Sian Gotts has gone on maternity leave to have her second child and starting later in the month is Dae Chun as our Auckland Group Sales Manager.

We have big goals this year and with a team as talented and hard-working as ours, we have no doubt that 2023 will be our best one yet!

Good Impressions Spotlight on MWDI

Good Impressions Spotlight on MWDI

To celebrate 6 months of Good Impressions, we’ve put the spotlight on the incredible Māori Women's Development Inc. - a proud, local organisation who have been supporting wāhine and their whānau starting new or expanding their existing businesses for over 35 years.

We're thrilled to have MWDI onboard as one of the benefitting organisations in our Uplifting our People/Piki te tangata pillar and making a difference in the lives of wāhine every day.

The 2023 DOOH Menu - Programmatic and More

The 2023 DOOH Menu - Programmatic and More

We sat down with our Head of Digital, Parris Downey, to discuss what's on the horizon for DOOH and PDOOH this new year.

2023 is shaping up to be a pace-shifting year for DOOH with programmatic traction starting to really kick-in as well as agencies and clients starting to think more creatively around how to use the DOOH medium. It’s best to consider this utilization in 2 unique parts which, when combined, can make a truly dynamic and powerful campaign.
